The Assassin's Creed video game saga is definitely very prolific: Syndicate, Identity, Chronicles... There's even a movie based on the game. Among all these titles, we can't forget about this Assassin's Creed Altair's Chronicles in which the main character of the first game is back at it.
In this version for iPhone and iOS devices in general, we'll once again play the role of Altair who has to resume his fight against the Templars jumping from roof to roof. He'll do so throughout 28 levels in which he'll explore different medieval cities completing assassination and looting missions. As you can see, nothing much has changed.
Jump around the roofs of Tyre, Aleppo, Jerusalem, Acre and Damasco
In this installment of the game, officially released in April of 2008 for Nintendo DS and later for other platforms such as iOS, WebOS or Windows Phone (sorry, there's no APK available for Android), our main character and his mate Rafiq find out in Damasco that Tamir has a connection with the Templars. After killing him, he finds out that the Chalice is hidden in the Temple of Sand. And that's where our frenetic adventure will start in order to recover it.
It brings together all the essence of Ubisoft's most popular action game.
The gameplay is very similar to Prince of Persia, combining stealth and combats. Certain steps have been simplified regarding the original game, since the way we obtain information is much more efficient: bashing people around. On the other hand, the thefts are carried out by means of mini-games that slows down the game's pace.
We can't decide on which Assassin's Creed is the best of them all... they're all great games that are always fun to play. This one is definitely a great option for your iPhone because it brings together the best elements of the saga: fights and killings.
