For a long time, the guys at Ketchapp have been specialized in releasing casual video games in which you only need a few clicks to delve deep into the game. The gameplay is usually quite simple but also very addictive as you'll find yourself trying to prove that you're capable of overcoming all those impossible obstacles that have been designed for such purpose.
Another house-brand casual game
Well, it looks like their zillionth creation is going to be more of the same. We're talking about Catch Up, released for both iPhone and Android, and that will put our reflexes and patience to the test with the usual gameplay in these titles: try to advance as much as you can, dodge all the obstacles and increase your score by collecting diamonds on your way.
But what makes this game different to others developed by the same studio? Well, regarding the plot, absolutely nothing. But with regard to its point of view, it's now 3D. We'll explore the scenarios from a view behind the ball that we're in control of, so we'll head straight to all the obstacles, having to move left or right or jump to avoid them.
You'll lose your patience but you won't be able to stop playing.
This is the unbeatable plot of these developers that, despite the simplicity of their games, have produced hit after hit, drawing the attention of some of the most important game studios. Nobody should be surprised that Ubisoft, that you probably know thanks to Assassin's Creed or Rayman, have finally purchased Ketchapp.
