With its first version released in 1999 for arcade machines, Crazy Taxi soon became an all-time SEGA classic. The following year it made its appearance on the Dreamcast video console and later on PS2, Nintendo Gamecube and also PC. After a few years, and with the irruption of smartphones and tablets, we've also been able to player a version for Android and iOS.

Probably the best and most entertaining taxi game

You probably already know the game. It's a crossover between a driving simulator and an arcade title: on the one hand, you have to drive your taxi through chaotic traffic and, on the other, transport passengers within a time limit, as you've always done in classic car games in which you have to beat the clock to arrive at the next checkpoint.

In your adventure carrying passengers from one place to another, you're going to have to go through chaotic and surrealistic traffic. You'll drive around the streets at full throttle to be able to win as much money as possible: remember that the faster you go, the more money you'll manage to earn.

  • Impossible roads that will help you to complete all sorts of jumps and stunts.
  • Two game modes: arcade and original.
  • Play in 3, 5 or 10-minute games.
  • Dodge all the other cards.
  • 16 minigames included.
  • Listen to an original soundtrack with songs written by The Offspring and Bad Religion, or create your very own playlists with your songs.

The only thing missing is an online game mode.

The game became very popular back then, selling several million units all over the world and leading to the development of parts 2 and 3 that came along with more cars, characters, adventures, and roads to drive along.
