Video Link Lite is one of those apps that are always necessary on an iPhone or iPad. How many times have you wanted to watch a video but you haven't been able to because otherwise, you would have run out of data? One of the main drawbacks of iOS is how hard it is to incorporate new multimedia contents: or we purchase it from the iTunes Store or we have to transfer it from our computer via iTunes.
And that's where this app comes in to help us download the videos of our choice in the easiest and simplest of manners. Although it hasn't been updated since 2015, as you'll soon realize once you see its old-fashioned interface, the app still works perfectly.
How does it work?
It incorporates a web browser that allows us to visit any website on the Internet that hosts a video that we want to download -it's especially useful for webs of the likes of YouTube-, the app automatically detects that there's an embedded audiovisual file and will tell us that we can download it.
Once downloaded to our device, we'll be able to watch it from the app or directly from the photo gallery, as well as renaming them, sorting them by name, date, size, and type, creating playlists... A real and true video library on our iPhone. Thus, searching and playing videos is extremely fast.
Its main disadvantage is the excessive amount of adverts it shows making it difficult for us to use the application. And the promotional contents shown are usually of sexual nature, which can be a problem if you want to use the app on a device used by the whole family.
