Ancient Greece is an inexhaustible source for movies, books, comics, and obviously video games. A great example is this Age of Sparta, a strategy game developed by Gameloft in which you command the Spartan troops to conquer the Aegean Sea.
Lead the Spartan army to victory
Like in many other strategy games, you'll have to build a city from scratch and take care of it to be able to produce enough military units to face up to your enemies with full guarantees. Building the best facilities to train your soldiers will be as important as constructing magnificent monuments to receive the favor of Zeus and the rest of the Gods and characters from Greek mythology.
And once on the battlefield, you'll be able to make use of all sorts of military units and unique beings, including monsters and mythical beasts, with which you can face up to your rivals from Athens, Syracuse or Persia. The combats take place on a 3D scenario in which troops will approach each other giving you enough time to launch your attacks from a distance before the hand-to-hand combat.
