Before starting to play in Alpha Guns, you will have to choose a character and the weapons you can equip. At the beginning of your adventure, you will only have one warrior, but you can unlock up to nine characters as you progress.

The games are played in scenarios designed in 2D, very similar to Metal Slug. In the game, you will have to use your weapons to take out the huge numbers of enemies that are coming at you, including soldiers, tanks, and helicopters, among other threats.

To play, you will move your character with your left thumb, while with your right thumb, you will be able to shoot, change weapons, or jump. To help you get to the end of the level, you can open boxes, where you will find extra lives and resources, such as better weapons, letting you use flamethrowers or machine guns, thus becoming even more lethal.

Once you overcome all the obstacles and enemies of the level, you will face the final boss. Of course, this enemy is stronger and it will take a while (and lots of skill) to finish it off.

And although the graphics can be improved, it is a very fun and entertaining game that offers a dynamic and action-packed experience. Players who enjoy platform and shooting games will surely love this game with its cool soundtrack.
