In short, the Big Game Hunting Party mode places one player as the stage boss and a group of 5 brawlers who must try to beat it. The concept is very reminiscent of the PC game Evolve, released by 2K Games, where one player took on the role of a mutant monster and the rest took on the role of the various hunters chasing it.
The fundamental difference between Evolve and this Brawl Stars mode is that in the PC game, you can choose which side you want to fight on, and in the Supercell game, it is completely random. This is another weekly event that used to be accessible through tickets, but with the last big update, it is enough to have at least 350 trophies.
How to win Big Game Hunting Party mode
There are two ways to beat this scenario: as the boss or as the hunter:
- If you are the boss, try to survive as long as you can and take advantage of coverages whenever you can. You are very healthy, you deal lots of damage, and you can kill most of the opposing team yourself, but you are not invulnerable. Learn to combine patterns of appearance with periods when you will hide to heal.
- If you are part of the hunting team, note that the teams are formed at random. That means that most of the time, the characters will aim for high DPS. Always try to enter with a tank like El Primo, Rosa, or Frank or with a supporting character, like Poco or Pam. This is the only way you can balance the scales.
