FaceTime is a system that's integrated into several devices developed by Apple and that you can use to be able to take part in video conferences among them, after originally appearing for iPhone, the program is now also available for computers with Mac OS X installed.

The application integrates perfectly both with the operating system, offering us a very clear and elegant interface, and with some tools, like the address book, from which you'll be able to call any of your contacts that have the application installed on their computer, on an iPod touch or on an iPhone compatible with the development.

Obviously, both devices have to be connected to the Internet to be able to take part in video conferences, and it also requires that you have an Apple ID to be able to make use of the tool.

If you were looking how to be able to communicate with your friends making use of iSight and the sound system integrated into your Mac, download FaceTime as soon as possible.
