Here you have a free video player for your iPhone. With this app, you can save having to convert all your videos and movies to the appropriate format for iOS. Infuse 6 supports the majority of them, whether in AVI, MP4, MKV for high definition or even WMV, the Windows video format. But be careful because you might have some audio issues. You might be able to watch loads of movies but not hear them because the audio may be in Dolby (AC3) or DTS in high definition. But don't worry because it will work if you upgrade the app to the Pro version paying a tiny amount of money.
However, there are other apps that can do the same without having to pay a cent. This paid version also allows you to watch videos in 4K, access contents stored on the Cloud in Dropbox, Google Drive or OneDrive, and play them via streaming. Furthermore, you can sync the playback and history with other devices.
Add subtitles in a matter of seconds with free and easy downloads.
How does it work?
You can use the app by streaming straight from a Mac, a PC or a NAS, as well as adding and copying the videos straight to an iPhone to watch them offline. With regard to the streaming, you can also play the app's contents on an Apple TV or a Chromecast. You've got two options to transfer videos to your device, through the network connecting your iPhone to the same Wi-Fi as your computer to then, through your Internet browser, transfer the files or via FTP.
The alternative to the network is to do so by USB, either through iTunes, synchronizing and/or adding the files with this software to your iPhone and even through other applications that contain these videos, as well as the above-mentioned virtual disks.
