People say that trends are cyclic and always end up coming back. Just take a look at the fashion world, for instance, since we're starting to wear the same clothes our grandparents used to wear. The same thing goes for zombies and vampires. First, it was the vampires with their thirst for blood and their Byronian romanticism. And now they've been replaced by zombies with their own craving: brains. Although this time around, it looks like they're here to stay. In the world of video games, so many titles about this topic have been developed over the last few years that they have become overwhelming. However, the audience doesn't seem to be getting bored and still demand and consume these contents, as proven by Into the Dead 2, one of the latest releases.
Travel through a zombie apocalypse in a race to save your family.
A race against time to save your family
And we all know what happens in zombie games. Or you get your family killed or you have to go out to find them. The latter is the case of our main character who has suffered an accident that prevents him from being at home to protect his wife and daughter. From there on, and with a clear motivation in mind, you'll have to get hold of all sorts of weapons to kill off all the undead and get back with your family:
- Machine guns.
- Tommy guns.
- And a dog to keep you company.
The plot of the story will depend on the decisions you take, unfolding in one way or another until you reach one of the possible endings. There are 7 chapters available, split into 60 stages with loads of settings: farms, cities, petrol areas...
In a world where nobody is safe. How far will you go to save your life?
If you think it sounds good, you can download Into the Dead 2 for free. It's compatible with loads of different Apple devices but you'll need to have iOS 9.0 or above.
