MGS V already has a spin-off: Metal Gear Survive. It's an action-packed adventure video game for up to four people in which the player must do whatever it takes to survive just like in all those modern survival zombie titles.
After the events that took place in Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes, several members of Militaires Sans Frontières have been absorbed through a wormhole and reached an alternative reality infested by a biological threat in which they'll have to team up to fight against the infected creatures in order to survive.
An alternative reality and hundreds of infected beings
Just like in the previous installment, the player will travel to Afghanistan although the threat is totally different. To survive, we must team up with through characters to use the strengths of each one of them at each given moment, and build a solid strategy capable of wiping out all the monsters, zombies, and mutants eager to invade this hostile, desertic and unknown land.
Survive the hordes of monsters that are invading this alternative reality.
Just like the trendiest games at present as is the case of Battle Royale titles, collecting and crafting will be essential to advance. The player must collect objects, material, and ammo, as well as having to build towers or trenches to protect himself because, unlike in MGS V, the land is totally abandoned and out of control.
With regard to technical aspects, the scenarios are very eye-catching, with stunning graphics and great characters that will get the user glued to the screen from the very first moment. On the other hand, the playability is very complete as the game includes dozens of missions that can be repeated as many times as necessary and advanced weapons (a pick, a bow or a rifle depending on the character).
The only drawback is that it lacks an individual mode: Metal Gear Survive only includes a multiplayer online collaborative mode.
