Nuvola Player is a music player for Linux that gives you the possibility to integrate various online music services on your desktop. Thus it won't be necessary to open the web browser to enjoy the music of services like Grooveshark or Hype Machine, among others. This project, that used to be known as Google Music Frame, will make it a lot more comfortable for all users to enjoy their music from a Linux desktop.

Online music on your desktop

When you launch Nuvola Player on your Linux you will have to choose the service that you want to launch. Once you have selected what you want you will see the window with the contents of this service. All you will have to do is choose the songs which you want to listen to. Among the options offered by Nuvola Player the user will find the possibility to view the toolbar or not, or to configure the behavior of the close button. It also offers the chance to change songs or pause the playback with a keyboard shortcut.
