To keep our photograph collection organized and accessible, Sony has developed Photo Go. It is an application that belongs to the image cataloger group, that doesn't only offer us the possibility to manage our photographs, but at the same time offers us the possibility to perform basic editing tasks to enhance them.

Photo Go includes interactive help that will guide us in the first steps that we have to take when we first use the application. Thus, we will be able to discover how to control the program in a simple way.

Main functions

  • The main menu bar, from which we will easily be able to perform the following operations: import images from a digital photo camera or from an external memory, edit, print or send the photographs by email or export the images to another location.
  • The “Media Library” panel (on the left), to browse through its folders, add new directories or view the images that have been imported recently (during the last 30 days).
  • The main preview window, that offers the possibility to view the files of the current folder. At the bottom, we will be able to view information about the image or images that we have selected.

What's more, when you want to print, send an image by email or export a file, a panel will open on the right with more details. Last but not least, by double-clicking on any image we will be able to enhance it with the editing tools that are included in the application (rotate, crop, brightness, and contrast, automatic adjustments, black/white, sepia, red eyes,...).

Requirements and additional information:
  • This application requires that the user registers when he/she first launches the application.
  • The trial period lasts for 30 days.
