In the eighties, Bubble Bobble was all the rage on arcade machines around the world, and later on video consoles and computers. It was a fun, challenging platform game in which, as you went through the 100 levels, you had to get rid of your enemies by trapping them in bubbles and then making the bubbles burst.

In the nineties, the game model was revamped to become Puzzle Bobble (also known as Bust-a-Move in North America) and it became one of the best match 3 games to see the light of day. So, if you have ever seen a game which involves firing bubbles to burst three or more connected bubbles of the same color, it’s all down to the commotion this game caused at the time.
And what we have here is not an official Taito Corporation version, but rather the work of some very dedicated people who thought it would be a good idea to develop a version for Android, and let’s not kid ourselves, they weren’t wrong. This is what you will find on this version of Puzzle Bobble:
- More than 100 levels to move through.
- A variety of gameplay modes.
- Identical graphics to those in the original.
- The chance to save and go back to the same match later on.
