Those people that were used to animating with Adobe Flash will find the interface of Sencha Animator very familiar, because it has a timeline by means of which you will be able to create the animations. The application is very easy-to-use: the timeline has a specific length, and all you will have to do is to add elements to it. At the top of the application you will find the elements that you can use: lines, boxes, circles, text, images or containers. And on the right hand side of Sencha Animator you will see the features of each element that you include.
Sencha Animator allows you to carry out several actions on the objects:
- Transitions and animations
- Backgrounds and frames
- 2D and 3D transformations
- Text shading
One of the most positive things about Sencha Animator is that, since it works with CSS3, animations will be able to be seen on portable devices that don't support Flash, like iPhone or iPad.
