Even though it is still one of the most important communication methods, the radio has decreased in what refers to the number of listeners and nowadays many specialized radio stations broadcast on the Internet, due to how easy it is to use this method.

Create your own music compilations recorded from the radio

Snowtape is an adaptation for our computers of those radio-cassette players with which we recorded our favorite music compilations from the radio to a cassette, but luckily for us now we won't have to look for the exact broadcasting frequency of worry about the tape's length.

It is only necessary to choose a radio station among the hundreds that are available, wait for a song that we like to start and press the record button, and once it finishes, we will be able to edit the length of the track or assign a cover to it. It is also possible to export the recording to iTunes (so that we can then transfer them to our iPod/iPhone) or import XSPF playlists directly from the Internet.

Requirements and additional information:

  • This download requires Mac OS X 10.6 or above.
