Star Wars is back in fashion. Well, such a great saga never went out of fashion but after being purchased by Disney, the franchise is living a second wind as shown by all analyses. Although many of its most classic fans aren't too keen on the path taken by the series as of lately, it's still selling as much as ever. With its latest hits in mind, EA has released a new version of Battlefront for PC: Star Wars Battlefront II.

A galactic shooter
But what's this adventure about and what makes it different to the test of Star Wars video games? Well, it's a first-person shooter in which you can handle different spacecraft that will definitely ring a bell:

- T-65B X-Wing.
- TIE Interceptor.
- TIE Bomber.
- Vulture Droid.
- N-1 Starfighter.
In this edition, you can take part in massive battles (solo or in multiplayer mode) on legendary and emblematic scenarios, taking on the role of the heroes of the movies of this saga: Rey, Darth Vader, Han Solo, Darth Maul, Luke Skywalker, Emperor Palpatine, Bossk, Lando Calrissian, Boba Fett, Yoda, and Kylo Ren. Furthermore, it comes along with an innovating one-player story mode in which you'll play with Iden Version to claim vengeance on the fearsome Emperor.
Take part in an exciting single player story in the role of Iden Version who will fight to avenge the Emperor.
The game is complemented by add-ons, loads of extensions, and DLCs that you can download once you've purchased the title. To be able to play, your computer will need to meet certain requirements such as Windows 7 or later, 15 GB of free space on your hard drive, an Internet connection of at least 512 kbps, a 2GB AMD Radeon HD 7850 or a 2GB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 graphics card, and DirectX 11.0 compatible with the equivalent graphics card, as well as 8 GB of RAM memory.
