At present, privacy is one of the most highly rated aspects for any Internet user. Our data are usually exposed too easily, starting off with our IP address, from which anyone with sufficient knowledge can gather plenty of information about us.

Anonymous browsing on the Internet

If you surf the Internet from an iPhone or iPad, you can now guarantee your privacy thanks to VPN One Click, an application that allows you to do so with a fake IP address as it connects to a virtual private network through a proxy server. That means that websites can't register your real address, but one provided by this service.

Essential to guarantee our privacy and our free access to information.

It's a very popular service on platforms such as PC or Android. In the case of the latter, which is the most similar to iOS, we only have to download an APK to protect our anonymity and browse through online contents that are restricted or blocked in our country: from a YouTube video to a censored website.

How does it work?

It's based on the same principles as Tor Browser: the connection distributes the packages through different gateways making it harder to track them and then brings them all together again at an endpoint to which the destination server has to connect. That's when this fake IP address is registered as the origin of the connection.

There are free versions, but those called Professional or Full editions offer us the possibility to choose the country from which we want to simulate our connection by paying a monthly or annual installment.

Requirements and additional information:
  • Minimum operating system requirements: iOS 6.1.
  • Compatible with:
    • iPhone
    • iPad
    • iPod touch
  • Offers in-app purchases.
