About me…

Hi! My name is Shay. I am from Dublin originally but have done a lot of globetrotting in my time having lived in California, New York and eventually Spain. This is due to a passion for travelling and immersing myself in other cultures. As a result of this, I have a love for languages and so professionally I divide my time between teaching English, translating and editing.

I am a keen sports fan both as a spectator and participant. I enjoy running and have run a number of 10km races and half-marathons. In 2018 I finally got round to a long sought after goal and completed the Barcelona Marathon. I also enjoy cycling long distances and in the summer of 2015 I completed, from Pamplona, el Camino de Santiago de Compostela by bike. When I can, I enjoy playing tennis or football with friends. I also like going to the cinema, music and attend concerts from time to time. I in fact play the guitar but unfortunately not to the level I would like.

Don’t listen to what they say, go see!
