WhatsApp MODs are very popular amongst many of the 1.5 billion users of this app all over the world. They allow us to customize aspects such as the graphical interface or even take full control over the privacy options, amongst many other functions. WhatsApp Plus and GBWhatsApp are probably two of the most famous MODs but there are many more, as is the case of this NEWhatsApp.

A pink-colored WhatsApp

The color of its interface is the main feature that catches our eye as soon as we download and install its APK which, as usual, is based on the official WhatsApp app. However, its developers have modified certain aspects to add functions that are yet to arrive on the original application or that will never do so, such as the possibility to change the font type.

Many users have certain doubts about the security of downloading and installing a MOD, especially in terms of malware or privacy issues as we don't really know who's going to be taking control of our data. In any case, if you're thinking about downloading any of these apps to be able to use two WhatsApp numbers at the same time, you should take into account the features of this NE WhatsApp:

  • Send files of any size and format.
  • Improve your control over your status privacy.
  • Change aspects of the graphical interface such as themes, fonts, bubbles, checks...
  • Download the statuses and stories of your contacts.
  • Copy statuses.
  • Hide chats and protect them with a password.

And there are many more functions just in case you don't want to wait for years whilst the developers of the official app try to implement loads of new features, as has happened with WhatsApp's stickers.

Requirements and additional information:
  • Minimum operating system requirements: Android 2.3.
  • The installation of the app by means of the APK file requires the activation of the "Unknown sources" option within Settings>Applications.
