There was something about classic arcade games that made them special and tremendously addictive. You could spend hours on end playing the most simple title and always came back for more. Part of that spirit is captured in Infinite Stairs, an interesting game made with wonderful pixel art in which you have to climb and climb stairs without ever stopping.

The ascent to the heavens through an infinite staircase

This arcade by the Nfly Studio couldn't be simpler. There are two buttons to climb a ladder: on to go up and another to turn around. The goal is to press the up button until you find a change of direction, at which point you'll have to click the other button.

Sounds easy, doesn't it? Well, nothing could be further from the truth, because players have to do this at full throttle. At the top of the screen, you will see a bar, which grows as we go up, but it will also shrink if you don't. If you press the wrong button or the bar shrinks all the way down, it is game over.

Fun characters and retro graphics, just like in the old days.

There are also weekly missions, and you can unlock characters, pets, and new scenarios. To get them, you need to collect coins and items during your frantic ascent. And if that were not enough, there is also a multiplayer mode to play real-time PvP games.

The design involves exquisitely pixelated graphics and a retro soundtrack that takes us back to the golden age of arcade games. If you want to have a few laughs and test your skills and reflexes, this friendly game offers that and much more. But be warned: it's tremendously addictive.
