When we are working on our computer screen, we may need to write notes and draw lines so that everything is more visual and flows better. To do so, we can count on ScreenMarker, a simple portable tool that helps us achieve this.

This is a small floating toolbar that offers us a range of options for making all kinds of sketches on any document or presentation that we happen to be working on, such as arrows, erasers, highlighters, or shapes. They will help us highlight any element while also allowing us to configure the thickness of the lines or the colors we want to use thanks to the palette featuring a range of colors.
This is very simple software since it's lite, takes up hardly any space, and no installation is required: it is a portable program, so, if you want, you can run it from a Pendrive. However, it's missing one function that would come in pretty handy - a function for typing text - since it only allows us to sketch with the mouse, which makes it less precise when it comes to adding written notes. So, it might be better to go for Skitch, the note-taking tool from Evernote.
