The thing is that if you are looking to use a WhatsApp MOD sticker app, such as Plus, YOWA or GBWA, you’re going to need a compatible app. The reason for this is that Sticker.ly requires you to have an official version of the app. If you don’t have an official version of the app you just can’t do it. So it’s worth downloading the app for the app in itself and also because it will offer you compatibility with other apps.
