Some of the main advantages that laptop computers offer us are the possibilities to work and connect to the Internet wherever we are, making use of wireless networks, without having to be plugged into the electricity mains. But running out of battery at a certain moment in time can cause the loss of information that hasn't been stored.
Information about your WiFi connection status
To avoid minor mistakes and to control our laptop's battery we have a small desktop application, known as Wibox, that also allows us to check the level of wireless networks that are within the computer's reach.
Thus, with this practical widget, it is possible to monitor both the name and the status of a Wi-Fi network. And view them comfortably on the desktop as a graphic representation, that shows yellow rings that establish the strength of the signals available. Furthermore, we can leave Wibox working in the background, minimized in the system tray.
