TutuApp VIP is a monthly, quarterly, or annual subscription that lets the user download and install the modified TutuApp applications and games. It is also available on a single payment plan. Unlike on Android, where TutuApp can be used without payment, on iOS this step is indispensable.

When you install TutuApp Lite, a slimmed-down app that lets you browse the TutuApp iOS catalog, all those apps that require subscription are marked with the VIP label, as you can see in the following image.

This fact may indicate that some applications are available without a subscription, although after several attempts, at Malavida, we have not found any that can be obtained without prior payment.

If you decide to start paying for TutuApp on iOS, there are a few things to keep in mind:

  • The subscription is only valid for one device. Apparently, the technique used by TutuApp to install unauthorized apps involves registering the device as an Apple developer account. Developers do have permission to install any software, whether or not it is in the App Store. If you change devices, you will lose your subscription. On the other hand, if you have several devices, you will have to pay for each of them.
  • Payments can be made by several methods. TutuApp lets the user subscribe using PayPal, Alipay, or a credit card. At the time of writing this article, subscriptions ranged in price from $4.99 for a one-month subscription to $49.99 for a lifetime subscription.

TutuApp is a good solution to have some additional features in the official apps of services such as WhatsApp and Instagram. However, the requirement for a subscription raises questions as to whether or not this is a service worth paying for.
