If you just think about it for a moment, you'll probably come up with quite a few names of alternative stores or repositories of Android applications that intend to be the greatest alternatives to Google Play as they allow us to download the same applications but in APK format, as well as others that aren't available in the official marketplace. Here's another alternative, with a wide range of both legal and pirate applications because it also allows us to download cracked, patched and modded apps.

Alternative store to Google Play

ACMarket is one of those stores that offer us cracked contents, whether games or apps. How it works is very simple, being very similar to other applications of the same style. Simply download the store's APK and carry out the installation. Once we access the main menu, we'll be able to search for applications, all of which are sorted by categories, to install them on our device. We're talking about a huge repository of patched applications that we can download and use free of charge... including games of the likes of Minecraft, for instance.

These are the main features of this store:

  • Clean and user-friendly design of the interface.
  • Direct download of applications from the store.
  • Catalog of modded and patched apps.
  • Daily update to its database of apps.
  • Possibility to customize its functions.

Download patched apps and mods for free.

All the contents are divided into different categories such as apps, games, videos, music, tools... by accessing each one of them we can find different applications, as well as being able to flick through featured applications and new apps.

If you've read a few opinions about ACMarket, you'll have realized that its users are really happy with this market. However, we have to recommend you to always download legal apps paying the price they're worth according to their developers, mainly due to a few reasons: developers don't live on air and need to earn money for their work. If they don't earn money, they'll stop developing and then we won't have all those apps that we like so much. On the other hand, we expect that you wouldn't like to work for free, they don't either. Furthermore, nobody can guarantee the safety of these apps as nobody knows if they contain viruses or other malware basically because they aren't put through a verification process.

Requirements and additional information:
  • Minimum operating system requirements: Android 3.0.
  • The installation of the app by means of the APK file requires the activation of the "Unknown sources" option within Settings>Applications.
