The Mac version of one of the best vector design programs
If we talk about vector graphic design, we definitely have to mention CorelDRAW. This tool includes drawing and layout functions for online and printed publications and has become one of the main applications in this scope together with the open-source Inkscape and Adobe Illustrator.
Corel for Mac
We have to mention that Apple computers only received version 11 and that due to its poor commercial feedback, the product was abandoned to continue focusing all the efforts on Windows PCs. So, forget about downloading Graphics Suite X8, X7, X6, 12 or whatever one you want on your macOS, because you won't be able to find it.
In any case, this version of the program offers you all the basic functions that have turned it into one of the best graphic design programs, so that if you install it on your Mac you'll be able to get hold of functions such as the following:
- Creation of graphics.
- Design of pages.
- Edition of images.
- Vector animations.
- Support for printing and digital outputs.
- New tools regarding previous versions for basic drawings.
- Capacity to turn objects into symbols.
- Introduction of a new drawing tool.
Requirements of CorelDRAW
Since we're talking about a program released back in 2002, its requirements are met perfectly by all any modern computer. In fact, you only need Mac OS X 10.1, or Puma, 128 MB of free space and 250 MB of RAM. However, you should know that currently there are more modern and powerful versions of Corel, but if you're looking for a design program that works on computers with hardly any resources, this is a great option.
