Today, in addition to weather and pollen levels, air quality is another concern. This fantastic application gives us all that information in one place and also offers us health tips according to the pollution in the environment hour by hour.

How is the air quality in my city?

The Air Matters app is an information platform about air quality in real time. In its database there is information from cities in more than 180 countries. We only have to find ours in the search engine or activate the geolocation function to obtain the data corresponding to our area.

Real-time broadcast air quality information for more than 180 countries

From the front page of the app we can see a summary of information, including the level of air pollution, the risk of allergy and suspended particles, among other details. Within the card of each city we can see the humidity, the strength and direction of the wind and the weather forecast, as well as the probability of rain, pollutants, history and forecast data on air quality and pollen for the coming days.

In addition, we will also be able to see the air quality of the surrounding areas on the map and read health tips based on pollution. For example, it will tell us if it is a good time to go outside, if we should ventilate our house or if we should use a purifier.

As if that were not enough, this app is also compatible with the Philips intelligent air purifier. Thus, we will be able to check the quality of the air inside our home in real time and control the device from anywhere. We only have to download the APK file to get going.

Requirements and additional information:
  • Minimum operating system requirements: Android 4.2.
  • Offers in-app purchases.
