How to measure decibels with your mobile phone

Decibel X is a noise meter for mobile phones. According to the developers, its functions are optimised for professional use, as it has a calibrated and reliable accuracy.

To find out the noise level of an environment, just touch the green button on the meter. The system will record all sounds while recording, showing the average frequency and the maximum level. It also shows us a scale so that we can see at a glance the level of noise recorded (whispering, car, underground, chainsaw, plane...).

One of the few noise/sound measurement apps on the market that offers pre-calibrated and highly reliable measurements.

But that's not all. It also allows us to take photos or record videos with reports showing noise levels, including date, time and location. On the other hand, it has a noise dosimeter, a sound level meter that measures the noise exposure recorded by the handset.
