Set up a proxy on your Android

If you want to mask your IP address when surfing the Internet or to access an online service through one of the applications installed on your Andoid phone, you can do so by using a proxy server. This server acts as an intermediary between your device and the server that you want to connect to, so that the server receives requests from an IP that is not your real one.

The simplest proxy for Android

And one of the easiest ways to set up a proxy on Android is by using an application like Every Proxy, which, unlike many others of the same ilk, does not require root permissions to work. Its functioning is so simple that all we need to do is enable a switch to turn on the proxy, where we can choose from HTTP/HTTPS and SOCKS4/SOCKS5 protocols, though we can also configure it to start up automatically every time we start a session.

Additional functions for this proxy, that comes in APK format, include being able to choose the port number for each of the available protocols and also to configure different IP addresses for routing.
