An elderly woman has decided that life doesn't give her enough challenges and has decided to become self-employed and open a traditional restaurant. But this charming woman not only offers food to fill the stomach, she also feeds the heart.
More than just cooking
It was Shōwa. On a small street in a tiny, unnamed neighborhood sits an old Japanese restaurant. An elderly woman runs the business alone, as her husband is ill. Luckily, she counts on you to lend her a hand.
So begins Hungry Hearts Diner, a restaurant game with charming hand-drawn 2D graphics that stands out from the usual mechanics of time management simulators. Apart from cooking and feeding the customers, we will also have to listen to their stories to comfort their hearts.
Throughout the adventure, you will reinvest your profits in improving your restaurant. You will also discover new traditional Japanese cuisine dishes to feed the various customers who are eager to talk. Some of them will tell you interesting things, but there are also happy, mysterious, and sad stories.
