ID.me Authenticator is a mobile security tool that lets us use two-factor authentication (2FA) to protect supported online accounts. In this way, we can prevent unauthorized access by requesting a six, seven, or eight-digit temporary code (TOTP).
Keep your online accounts secure on websites that support 2FA.
Adding our accounts to the platform is as simple as scanning the QR code of the web page we want to securely access. However, if we do not have this code, we can enter the data manually.
Once the account has been created, it will appear in the list with the features we have chosen. We have 30 seconds to set the temporary code before it is changed to another one. But you will need to have an ID.me account.
