To this end, they abducted hundreds of thousands of children from different countries to Germanise them and hand them over to foster families. This hard-hitting game is based on these historical facts, inviting us to adopt one of these children and raise him or her in a hostile environment.

My Child Lebensborn is a 2D simulator in which we will have to adopt a Lebensborn child (Klaus or Karin) after the Second World War. Our mission will be to satisfy all their needs as best we can. Spoiler alert: it won't be easy.

You adopt a Lebensborn child in Norway after World War II, but taking care of their welfare will be hard in a hostile and hateful environment.

The mechanics are similar to those of pet simulators, but with added difficulties. To begin with, we will have to make sure that the icons for feeding, hygiene and play are always full.

In addition, we will have to have conversations with our adopted child and select the most appropriate responses, always thinking of his or her welfare. The conversations will be simple at first, but will become more and more profound as the child interacts with the world and learns about bullying, guilt and his or her history. Our decisions will have a direct impact on the child's expressions and body language.

To play the game it is essential to balance our scarce resources with time, as each action consumes one or more hours of the day. In addition, we will have to work to earn money, cook, sew, forage, play and even learn from the past to give our child a better future.
