Imagine having a photo or a video of the trails that the stars have drawn in the sky during a whole night. This is possible thanks to Startrails and a technique called time-lapse. This technique consists in creating an accelerated video sequence of actions that take place at very slow speed, like for example, the movement effect of the stars. With Startrails, and a little bit of patience, you'll obtain astonishing images.

Although you may not notice at a first glance, when you look at the sky at night, the stars seem to move in the sky, due to the Earth's rotation. If you take photos of the trail left behind by the stars in the sky, you will be able to produce really spectacular images, with great beauty.

Spectacular images of the trail of the stars in the sky.

To do so, you'll need a large dose of patience, a photo camera with Bulb shooting mode, a tripod, a remote shooter, and once you have taken all the photos, you'll need an application that joins them to create the final result. Startrails is the program that you need.

This app is very easy to use. You only have to choose all the images that you have taken. You'll also be able to deselect those that you don't want to include. After that, you have to choose if you want to create an image or a video, and Startrails will carry out the process necessary to join the photos.
