When installing apps on our mobile devices, most of the time we don't even look at the permissions we are granting. One of the most dangerous is the permission to access the microphone and camera. This fantastic app from the IJP studio detects when an application is using these peripherals without our direct and specific permission.

How to know if an app uses our Android's camera and microphone

Access Dots is an app for Android mobile devices that works very similar to the tool included in iOS14. Every time an app of our terminal accesses the camera or the microphone in the background, a colored dot will appear in the part of the screen that we choose (the design is totally customizable).

It shows access points when the camera / microphone of the phone is activated by a third party application.

This is an incredibly useful application with an elegant interface and operation that could not be easier. All we have to do is download the APK file, start the application and grant the permissions it requests.

And that's it. Every time an app from our terminal accesses our microphone or camera in the background, a small colored circle will appear. If this icon appears, we only have to touch it to see the application that is abusing our trust and block it automatically. Without a doubt, this is a great way to avoid spying and being snooped on without permission.
