Chat with and meet people from all over the world
Despite the emergence of services like WhatsApp or Facebook, apps for anonymous chatting on a system similar to that offered by IRC are alive and kicking. One of them is Chatiw, an app for meeting people from all over the world.

To use this application you just need to carry out a simple registration process: choose your user name and fill out information like age, where you are from, and sex. From then on you will be able to chat with people who are nearby, but you can also perform specific searches in order to find users from other countries.
You will be able to exchange text messages with them and also send photos, in a similar way to messaging on WhatsApp, Telegram and company. It also offers you the possibility to become a VIP member, which apparently increases your chances of meeting people... though I don't know why they call it meeting people when it actually means hooking up, but there you go...
