- Both the PC and Chromecast must be connected to the same WiFi network.
How to send a Chrome tab to Chromecast

If you would like to cancel the streaming, press the device again. When the connection has been established, you will be able to see the icon of a blue screen in the browser.Active Cast function icon
At times, some platforms and services will allow you to directly cast the signal of their native players in the screen of the TV. In such cases, the Send... icon that enables this option will appear. You just have to click on it to stream the content, but bear in mind that although the images will be shown on both devices, the sound will only be played on the TV. The sound of other tabs of the browser or other software can still be heard from the speakers of the PC.
This is the simplest way to do it. Besides, you can add the Send... button to the toolbar so that it's easily accessible; you just have to right click on the icon that appears on this bar when you look for supported devices, and select the option Always show the icon on the pop-up menu.Option to always show the Cast icon in Chrome
