Even though Google is the ever present search engine, Safari includes Bing and Yahoo! to carry our searches in any of them. And of course, it is possible to increase its capabilities by means of add-ons and plug-ins.
On the other hand, Safari is one of the few browsers that manage to pass the ACID3 test with a result of 100/100, thus indicating its great compatibility. Furthermore, it makes the user's life easier by including a favorites feature that's very optimized (and can be synchronized with MobileMe), using the Cover Flow interface and allowing us to read RSS feeds directly on the browser.
The features of Safari are so good that it isn't strange that many Mac users don't think twice when it comes to using it.
