A touch button for turning off your Android screen

Screen Off is a system tool for Android devices that offers us a touch button for turning the screen off. In other words, it is a substitute for the physical off button for screen locking.

Forget about the physical off button

It is pretty easy to set up. The first time the app opens, we will see a notification telling us that we need to enable locking permissions to use it.

Once we have enabled it as an administrator app (following the guide on the interface), we will now be able to start using it. When we press on the icon (which we can place anywhere on the desktop), the screen will instantly turn off. To turn the screen on again, we need to enter the unlock pattern or code.

You can place this button whenever you want on the screen.

To access the settings menu, we have to press down on the icon for a few seconds. Here, we will find instructions for using the app and a button for instantly uninstalling it if we are not convinced.

In short, the download of the APK file provides us with a simple and free tool for turning the screen off with just one tap. It's not exactly pretty, but it is functional, especially if the phone’s physical off button isn't working too well.
