The name Space Shooter is in no way deceptive. It's just what it promises: a shoot'em up in space in the same pattern as the classic video games that swept through arcade machines around the world. So whoever is waiting for the latest in spaceship games can keep looking in Malavida's extensive catalog. But anyone who wants a lifetime of killing martians, with no other wish than to have a good time crushing space vermin, has found what they're looking for.
A single finger to wipe out the invading hordes
It's the game system that we've seen millions of times but that is still as attractive as day one: we control a spaceship in a 2D environment that has to dodge the enemy ships that are launched against it and shoot. You only need one finger to move, and by touching the screen you can open fire on them.
Predictably, as we destroy enemies we collect powerups that will enhance our destructive capabilities. We'll also face dangerous level bosses and in between, we'll be able to upgrade our ship with the money we've accumulated in our rewards.
Don't give it another thought: this video game format is older than the sun but still as fun and addictive as ever.
