Ketchapp, the company behind the development of casual games for Android and iOS, such as ZigZag or Don't Touch the Spikes, has done it again with a tremendously addictive title that has reached the top spot of the App Store in loads of countries.
A simple game, ideal to waste time.
Stack, which is the name of the new game from the French studio that promises to have us glued to the screens of our iPhone or iPad for hours on end, stands out for the beauty and colorfulness of its graphics that certainly resemble the aesthetics of Monument Valley.
How to play Stack?
The objective of this mobile game couldn't be any easier. Just pile up as many blocks as you can to create the highest tower ever built, without falling down, obviously. How many blocks can you stack up? 10, 15, 20 or maybe 83?
The more you manage to pile up, the more points you'll score, but also the more unstable your tower of blocks will become. To win, you have to try to put each piece exactly on top of the previous one to obtain the perfect balance.
Pile up blocks in AR, the augmented reality version
But there's another evolution to the first version of this game. In fact, do you remember Pokémon GO? That app that was a hit back in 2016 and in which we had to catch these creatures using an augmented reality system... well, inspired by the latter, we can now play Stack AR, in which we'll pile up blocks in an augmented reality environment. So, if you get fed up with this first version, you can download the second part an play in your living room, your kitchen, your bedroom, or even the bus.
We have to point out its two main assets to get you hooked on the game: competing to see who's the best in the world on the leaderboards and also to discover new blocks as your advance, acquiring higher scores.
