A video editor that replaces the face of actors in movies with your face
If a while ago FaceApp, the app that made us old, took half of the cell phones in the world, now ZAO threatens to do the same. This is a photo editor app that can replace the faces of actors in movies and series. That is, you can finally remove Harrison Ford's face in Return of the Jedi and marry the love of your life, Princess Leia.
Deep fakes to appear in movies
This app comes from China and uses artificial intelligence applied to the image to achieve spectacularly realistic results. Simply share a photo of your face with the app, and it includes it in a movie clip, even adapting the motions of speaking. Ok, it is not super incredibly accurate, of course, but it is lots of fun.
Also fun is how this app treats private data, which has made it quite controversial. However, if a few months ago you gave your info to a Russian corporation with the aforementioned FaceApp, what is the problem with sharing it also with the Chinese? All that data ends up being sold anyway...
Beyond this little privacy issue, know that you will find the app entirely in Chinese and that you will need to register with a Chinese mobile. But surely we do not need to tell you that there are websites with phone numbers for these proposes...
