Norrath is the world created for the EverQuest game, the longest running online role-playing game of all time, but it has also served as the world where EverQuest II has taken place, that instead of being a sequel of the original game is actually an alternative story.

Better than its predecessor

The first notable difference between EverQuest and EverQuest II is the graphics that were used, because the five year difference between the launching of one game and the other offered the possibility to develop graphics that were a lot better.

Story in constant evolution

One of the most important elements of massive multiplayer online role-playing games (MMORPG) is that its developed place a maximum effort in the constant development of the world where the story takes place, because if this doesn't happen the players lose interest. Something that hasn't happened with EverQuest II in the last eight years.

F2P (Free-to-Play)

EverQuest II was during years a game that was only available to those players that paid a monthly fee, but due to market movements and to the increase in what regards to rival games, Sony has decided to make the game available to anyone that wants to play.
