Scans recognize and convert handwritten notes into digital text that can be edited, searched, and stored on any device or service in the cloud.

How to convert handwritten text to electronic format

Pen to Print is an app for mobile devices that lets us convert a handwritten text to a digital text. To do this, it uses the OCR system, which makes it possible to scan the letters of a file and convert them into a digital format so that they can be edited with a word processor. To use it, follow these steps:

• Tap the plus (+) icon to upload a photo from the gallery of our device, or take a picture with the camera.
• Choose the text fragment that we want to digitize.
• Edit the text obtained for each line.

Once we have finished, we will see the result. From this screen, we can save our text, and if we have the premium version of the app, export it. We will be able to see the saved texts from the corresponding section of the menu. However, we will not be able to edit or copy them so, although it is a very useful app, its functions are limited, especially in the free version of the app.
