On many occasions, the productivity of mobile applications has nothing to do with sophisticated functions and designs or impossible user interface designs. It simply has to do with simplicity, and that's what this app to take notes on Android called Swiftnotes is all about.

Simplicity and speed for your notes

This application offers us a simple system to create text notes and write down on them any idea or concept that springs to mind. It stands out for its interface reduced to the minimum expression in which we only have to press a button to create a new registry and start writing.

These are its main features:

  • Easily create new notes or edit already existing ones.
  • Organize your notes by colors.
  • Quickly find any note by entering the keyword in the search tool.
  • Bookmark notes as favorites to pint them to the top of the list.
  • Hide those you want to keep out of the sight of other users due to their sensitive contents.
  • Make backups on external storage units and restore them whenever you need to.

Although we do miss the possibility to give our text a better format or be able to organize the created notes (by date, for instance), we must admit that it would probably not be so functional and simple with those extra features.

Requirements and additional information:

  • Minimum operating system requirements: Android 4.1.
  • The installation of the app by means of the APK file requires the activation of the "Unknown sources" option within Settings>Applications.
