The voice assistant for Samsung smartphones
Siri on iPhone, Cortana on Windows, Alexa on Amazon devices or Google Now on Android smartphones are some of the most popular virtual assistants. Their main function is to solve user problems such as searches on the Internet or appointments on our calendar. Samsung, the company that probably makes the best Android phones on the market (the Galaxy S range) also offers its users its own assistant. We're talking about Bixby and its three variations: Voice, Vision, and Bixby Home.
Bixby for home devices
It's the virtual assistant to interact with our home smart devices. For instance, it allows us to use our smartphone to interact with gadgets to control our home's temperature, connect or disconnect different devices or sync those that regulate our physical activity.
As we mentioned above, it's part of Bixby together with Voice that enables voice commands and Vision, the camera function that's basically an AR camera for the real-time identification of objects by searching for them online and taking us to the stores that sell them, in the case of being interesting in purchasing them.
However, if you're thinking about download it to your Android device you should know that it only works on Samsung smartphones and tablets.
