The cosmic cat’s racing game

Mario Kart’s shadow is long. So long that we are still seeing it now. The latest demonstration of this is found in Doraemon: Dream Car - the racing game featuring characters from one of the oldest animes on TV.

Compete against Doraemon, Nobita and other characters

This is a racing game where you will be able to compete with a range of characters from the series, like Nobita, Shizuka, Gian, Suneo and, of course, Doraemon. You will race on all kinds of circuits and will be able to choose all kinds of vehicles and then unlock more as you progress through the game and get good scores in the competitions.

The controls are pretty basic and allow you to steer your kart and control speed easily, as well as the turbo boosts to speed you up just when you really need it.

You obviously shouldn’t expect a realistic simulation game or races like Need For Speed - this game is nothing more than good old basic, simple fun – just like the aforementioned Nintendo racing game or SEGA’s response to it, Sonic Racing. This game gives a nod to the trailblazers that led the way back in the day.

So don’t be shy just because it is not the most realistic racing game you have ever seen. This game is a lot of fun, gives you a good idea of what some of the older racing games were like, and it is right there on your Android.
