Easy Scanner is a comprehensive tool for Android that turns a mobile phone into a portable pocket scanner. In addition, it features a powerful editor for processing scanned files.

Two-in-one document scanning and editing

The idea is very straightforward since all we have to do is take a photo of a text or an image using the device camera. For the best results, in the camera menu we can choose the type of document we want to scan:

  • Document.
  • Single page or sheet.
  • ID card.
  • Presentation card.
  • Bank card.
  • Receipt.

In addition, the interface allows us to import files saved in the memory or batch scan several at once. Once we have taken the photo, the menu will open so that we crop it as we please. After that, we will view the image in the editor.

The editor enables us to add drawings, text, stickers, mosaics, colors, signatures, watermarks, filters... Meanwhile, in the second tab, we will be able to extract text from the images using an OCR tool. Once the editing is done, we will be able to save the document as a PDF or as an image.

Turn your device into a portable PDF scanner.

In short, the download of the APK file provides us with a good tool with very useful functions. And best of all, it is totally free. The downside is that it features a lot of ads. However, although the results we get are pretty decent, they are not suitable for professional purposes.

Requirements and additional information:

  • Minimum operating system requirements: Android 6.0.
