Final Fantasy is definitely one of the most important video game sagas of all time. Ever since it was first published at the end of the 80s' until now, it has always been present on all kinds of platforms, including PC, PS3, PS4, and even Android and iOS over the last years.
After its journey through consoles, Final Fantasy XV has now landed on mobile devices with a totally different aspect to what we're used to. This new version goes by the name of Final Fantasy XV Pocket Edition and it will transform the settings and characters of this game into a chibi, which basically means a childish version of the manga or anime character who's an adult in the original game.
Enjoy the pocket-sized FFXV adventure
For those of you who still don't know the story behind FFXV, this role-playing game takes us to Eos, a world in which its prince Noctis Lucis Caelum has been dethroned and left for dead. The player's mission is to recover the crown and fight against all kinds of enemies with the help of his friends Prompto, Gladiolus, and Ignis, avenge the death of his father, and rescue his wife-to-be Lunafreya. Apart from having the same plot, the original game and this pocket version share the same game mode and fighting mechanisms: Square Enix has managed to preserve the title's essence.
Become Noctis, Prince of Lucis, and recover your kingdom from the clutches of the Imperial Army.
As usual in video games adapted to smartphones, we'll come across a very different graphical level, less powerful but very eye-catching, and touchscreen controls adapted to smaller screens to be able to play more comfortably.
The game includes 10 different episodes, of which only the first one can be played for free (the classic method to hook players on). To purchase the rest of chapters, the player can acquire them all for €19.99 or separately for €0.99 the first three ones and €3.99 the rest of them. If you do your accounts, you'll realize that it's cheaper to buy them all at once.
