Compared to how it used to be, the management of contact lists on Android smartphones has improved to a great extent. Just take a look a the Google Contacts app, for instance, thanks to which we can organize and manage our contacts in a much more rational manner.
Protect your contacts and sync them between devices
There's no need for us to tell you that this service can only be used from a Google user account. Nevertheless, on any Android phone with version 5.0 or above you can use any of the multiple functions available:
- Backups and synchronization: one of the advantages of this app is to be able to backup our contact list and save them on Google Drive in a safe manner. Thus, not only can it keep us protected against any possible flaw on our device, but we can also access them from any place and download them to other smartphones if you need them.
- Improved organization of your contacts: you can now organize your contacts by account (for instance, if you've got a personal and a professional profile). In turn, it incorporates a system that makes it easier to add and edit information contained in each one of them, such as a phone number, email address or photo. The user can also delete duplicate contacts much easier and receive suggestions about adding new contacts.
- Much easier to get in touch: it's now much easier to get in contact with any other user. A single contact can store plenty of different information (phone number, instant messaging apps of the likes of WhatsApp, email...).
Apart from these main functions, we have to add the fact that the visual aspect has been greatly simplified, which helps out in the app's usability.
All in all, we recommend you to download the APK of this application by Google. However, remember that you need to have your phone running on Android Lollipop at least.
